Cosmos in the stacks

Welcome to Cosmos in the Stacks

We are eager to explore self-guided interactive exhibits in the library stacks and curate an adventure through all the disciplines in the Library of Congress Classification system, expanding the representation of anthropology to zoology, improving the navigating, and understanding of library ranges as subjects to explore, encouraging curiosity, and fostering engagement.

To ensure that the information in print books remain relevant to learning, and to inspire engagement of books and ranges of disciplines in libraries, we are eager to pilot exhibits in the library stacks that make the content alive through tangible exhibits and curating an adventure through all the disciplines in the Library of Congress Classification system, enhancing browsing across anthropology to zoology. Curating a thoughtful integration of collections, displays, and exhibits to inspire engagement and learning will involve research and testing, such as finding interactive exhibits and attractions including dinosaurs in the field of paleontology. A spectacular self-guided walking gallery that fosters curiosity throughout disciplines and highlights a variety of important attractions, such as dinosaurs in the field of paleontology, will result from a creatively strategic integration of collections, displays, and exhibits. The personalized structured learning experience's design strengthens the library's position as a reliable source of correct information that is interesting, relevant to the curriculum, and acts as a gathering place for the community and beyond.
