About the Innovation Summit

The Library Innovation Summit convenes conversations focused on strategies and tools to meet the needs of lifelong learners in an evolving learning landscape. It is designed to focus on two or more themes as opportunities to develop and share new practices, tools, and discuss lessons learned. The inaugural Innovation Summit 2023 focused on Innovation and Makerspaces. This unique opportunity draws talent from academic and public libraries and IT from across the country, faculty and staff from Cal Poly Humboldt and the region, and colleagues from non-profits, startups, and vendors. The Innovation Summit is a series of curated conversation about trends in learning, and attendees are encouraged to participate and interact with relevant topics to adapt ideas, share experiences, and develop collaborative approaches.
