Please join us for presentations by the Sustainability Librarian Candidates.
Each candidate will be presenting on a prompt related to teaching and engaging students in sustainability related research. Candidates will have 30 minutes for their presentation and 20 minutes for questions.
All presentations will be at 9:00 am- 9:50 am in the Humboldt Scholars Lab, 3rd floor, for the dates below:

Cyril Oberlander, Dean of the Cal Poly Humboldt Library shares the Library's transformation into a place with more than books during this OLLI Brown Bag Lunch Presentation on May 16, 2022. L4Humboldt Building Bridges & Connecting Communities logo
Formerly L4HSU, L4Humboldt is excited to host in-person summer workshops, running June 6th-July 29th, 2022, offering fun opportunities to connect with the campus and community. L4Humboldt is short for LifeLong Learning Lounge at Cal Poly Humboldt and the theme continues with "Building Bridges & Connecting Communities." This is a campus and community social learning opportunity where people come together, share their knowledge, play while learning, and make meaningful connections with each other during the summer. Anyone can offer a workshop during this summer series of workshops!

Free Writing Support over the Summer - Don't Write Alone!
The Writing Studio provides writing support for Humboldt students at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to final touches. Students at all levels and in all majors can benefit from discussing their writing projects with our friendly, trained writing consultants.


In-Person and Zoom consultations for live conversations about your ideas and your draft.

Email consultations for written feedback. Make an appointment first and then submit your draft using our online submission form. You’ll receive feedback within 8 hours of your appointment.

You can schedule a session through tutortrac.humboldt.edu or through Learning Center Reception (call 707-826-5217, stop by the Front Desk on the Library 1st Floor, or pop into the Virtual Front Desk during open hours). Drop-ins welcome.

The Library Cafe is open Monday-Friday 8am-1pm for your hot and cold beverages, pastries, and other snacks. On Fridays, between 11am and 1pm, get free drip coffee!
The College Creek Marketplace will have hot food and salad bar choices everyday from 7:30am-5:30pm, plus regular market items.
