The Cal Poly Humboldt Library recently completed the Student News Digital Archive. This project makes available on Digital Commons all editions of two award-winning student newspapers: The Lumberjack and El LeƱador. The editions for the two newspapers span 1929 to December 2021. Future editions of each publication will be added at the conclusion of each semester.

Click on the links above to access the archives for each publication. Use the search bar on the left side of the screen to search through the digitized editions of each publication. Alternatively, you can browse based on year of publication. All editions available in the archives can be downloaded free of charge. No login is required to access these archives. Due to limitations with the scanning and quality of the microfilm, not all text will be searchable.
Thanks to everyone that made this project possible. A special thank you goes to the library student assistants that worked on the project: Kayla Garcia, Lisa Salcido, Veronica Koomson Maiden, Danielle Kirkland-Shatraw, Reanne Meighan, and Adam Mellot.
