- Ad*Access - The Ad*Access Project, funded by the Duke Endowment "Library 2000" Fund, presents images and database information for over 7,000 advertisements printed in U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911 and 1955. Ad*Access concentrates on five main subject areas: Radio, Television, Transportation, Beauty and Hygiene, and World War II, providing a coherent view of a number of major campaigns and companies through images preserved in one particular advertising collection available at Duke University.
- Ad Council: Campaigns That Have Made a Difference - This site highlights Ad Council public service advertising campaigns (PSAs) from 1942 to the present. Includes descriptions of campaigns for wars (such as "Loose Lips Sink Ships" and Rosie the Riveter), forest fire prevention (Smokey Bear), child abuse prevention, domestic violence awareness, and more. Provides images of print ads and video clips of TV commercials.

Additionally database, direct, international, and Internet marketing are covered as well as market research. This site is operated and maintained by Paul Christ, Ph.D. Dr. Christ is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Department of West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
- National Retail Federation - This site is retail trade association with membership in all retail formats. They have information on various retail concerns including 2004 Holiday sales information . such as information and statistics on topics such as shopping on the day after Thanksgiving (called "Black Friday"), and consumer surveys relating to gift cards, toys, and online shopping. Also includes a report that "contains recent and historical data on holiday trends, including sales data, holiday hiring, and shoplifting.
