- Business Filings Databases - Updated - This is a compilation of all the state locations for sources of information on corporate and business filings.
- Corporate Watch - Web site dedicated to observe transnational corporations at the local, national, and international levels and to provide readers with information to investigate and analyze corporate activity.
- EdgarScan - Developed at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Technology Centre, EdgarScan helps company researchers effectively sort through the mass of quarterly (10-Q) and annual filings (10-ks) housed at the SEC EDGAR Database (reviewed in the February 9, 1996 Scout Report). Filings and initial public offerings may be searched by company name or industry code, and search results are listed in an easy-to-read format with hypertext table and Excel spreadsheet output possibilities.
- Forbes lists - On this site you can find the various lists that Forbes compiles including the lists for the top 400 domestic companies; 200 best small companies; world's 2000 largest companies.
- Fortune 500 - Fortune Magazine's annual list of the top 500 U.S. companies ranked by revenues. Information available to subscribers only.
- Hoovers Online - Includes links to company web sites as well as company profiles for privately held firms and publicly traded companies. [For HSU only, Hoover's Company Record covers more than 40,000 public and non-public companies in addition to providing in-depth industry and company information.]
- The Inc 500 List - Inc Magazine’s list of the country’s fastest growing private companies.
- Public Register's Annual Report Service - Free annual reports for 3,600 public companies for U.S. mailing addresses only. Also features, PaceSetters Database, Corporate Window which includes financials, 10-K’s, press releases. There is also a collection of annual reports available at Public Register's Annual Report Service Online Annual Report Service.
- U.S. Securities and Exchange - EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval system) - All publicly traded firms must file information electronically with the SEC. Data will be kept for two years in the system.
