Annual (ref HD 9560.1 I565) Along with a county-by-county analyses and statistics
includes maps of countries, regions and basins that show oil and gas fields,
pipelines, refineries, and tanker terminals.
- Mineral Resources On-line Spatial Data
(US Geological Survey) Interactive mapper containing geologic, lithologic,
geochemical, geophysical and mineral resource information for the US, selected
states, and the world. Approximately 30 data layers can be spatially represented
on a map, including active mines, cities, federal lands, geologic faults,
value of mineral production, type of land cover, and sediment chemistry. Also
available are spatial metadata files which contain information on each data
layer.
- Renewable Energy Atlas of the West
(Land and Water Fund of the Rockies) Profiles wind, solar, geothermal and
biomass power in the 11 Western states, including availability, current status,
and government policies. Includes a regional overview and profiles for each
state. The site contains both a collection of pre-drawn maps and an interactive
mapper.
