- Current Research Information System (CRIS) (US Department of Agriculture) Database of ongoing and recently completed research projects in agriculture, including forestry, that are sponsored or conducted by USDA agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, state land grand universities, other cooperating state agencies and participants in USDA research grant programs. Each entry includes information on project objectives, progress to date, publications that have resulted from the research and project contacts.

- The Forestry Source (Society of American Foresters) Monthly publication that contains news on recent forestry policy issues, developments in forestry research and technology, and SAF programs. One can sign up to receive an email alert when a new issue is posted.
