Music on the Internet
Discussion Groups, also known as listservs or electronic conferences, can be a useful Internet resource for research and scholarship. They give access to expert opinion, both academic and professional, or to lively discussions among enthusiasts. You may "lurk" (sign on and read the postings without entering the discussion), or you may contribute your own questions and opinions.
- CataList is a searchable listing of Listserv lists that includes instructions for subscribing to the lists it identifies.
Directories and Search Engines help you find websites of interest. General information on these resources is available in OWL 3. Below are a few sites that are particularly recommended for finding academically useful information on music.
