Art on the Internet
Learn about the Humboldt State University Art Department.
Discussion Groups, also known as listservs or electronic conferences, are one of the most useful Internet resources for many purposes, especially scholarship. They give access to expert opinion, both academic and professional, or to lively discussions among enthusiasts. You may "lurk" (sign on and read the postings without entering the discussion), or you may contribute your own questions and opinions. The directories below are searchable and include instructions for subscribing to the lists they identify.
- CataList is a searchable listing of listserv lists that include instructions for subscribing.
Directories and Search Engines help you find websites of interest. General information on these resources is available in OWL 3. Below are a few sites that are particularly recommended for finding academically useful information on art and art history.
