Jeff Conner studied forestry at UC Berkeley and came to Humboldt County to work in the woods. His career eventually moved to law enforcement and he spent time working patrol, doing marijuana and other drug enforcement, as well as nuisance abatement. He currently works as a small town police chief. In his spare time, when he can find it, he enjoys reading, writing, cycling, photography, computer gaming, and shooting. He feels blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
