Humboldt State University Library seeks a forward-thinking, service and team-oriented Teaching and Learning Librarian who is interested in instruction and programming for undergraduate student success. Getting Started with Inkscape February 20th 4-4:50pm in Library 121
Your Library and campus partners offer 50-minute FREE workshops in various categories to introduce and develop skills in important areas for student success.  Go to the SkillShops calendar to see what's there and take advantage of this great opportunity!
Tim Miller's How to Design: Create Buttons with Inkscape is the 100th SkillShop submitted this semester but it's not the last to be offered so check the calendar often.  Upcoming SkillShops include numerous Peer Health Education subjects like Making Friends, dealing with stress, sex ed, healthy eating on a budget, and more.  ACAC offers help with resumes, interviews, and job searching.  CAPS offers numerous ways to handle anxiety, conflicts, and finding focus. Librarians are offering help with research skills, building a time budget, questioning authority, and understanding financial credit.

Student lunch & learn Tuesday February 13 12-2pm in Scholars Lab
This pizza-fueled event is designed to provide an open space for students to share their Canvas, Library, and Learning Center experiences. Come learn more about available student resources and Canvas LMS features in student-led mini workshops.  There will be free pizza, prizes, and raffles, including a chance to win a pair of Beats Solo 3 headphones.
