Poiesis allows users to search a fulltext database of 53
journals with complete backfiles for any word or combination of words, and
to view up to a paragraph of text around each "hit." Search results are
presented on a results map, allowing users to see the article title, the
journal name and issue, and all of the "hits" with a limited display of
text. Abstracts, if available, are also viewable. For most articles, the user can access a pdf of the
article. The journal list is scheduled to grow to 100. |
