These images were scanned from the preservation microfilm of the collection. They were selected to demonstrate representative content of the collection as well as a variety of technical problems which would be encountered in scanning directly from microfilm. The original microfilming and the subsequent scanning were performed by BMI Imaging, supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the State Librarian.
