| Comments: | One of the Tribal dances of the Klamath River Indians. The white deerskin, coming from an albino deer is very rare and held at great value among the Indians. With the skin on a long stick, they go through their dance, which is their prayer for high water in the river, so that the fish may come up to them from the ocean. 1898. | |
