| Comments: | Cattle belonged to Lindgren family who lived on present-day Groth Ln. off Scenic Dr. in Trinidad. Each day the cows would graze down towards Trinidad Head and would come home in the evening. Sisters Wilda and Roberta Lindgren remember being summoned out of school to herd a cow back home if it wandered into town. The rock to the right of the cattle on the beach was dubbed "Charlie Lindgren Rock" after their grandfather, a Swedish immigrant. / RL & WL | |
