- The best print source for current county statistics is Health Data
Summaries (HA 261 H43) in the Reference Collection on the first
floor; see also Population History Maps of California Places
1770-2000 (ref HB 3525 C2 B471). In the Humboldt Room check the
Humboldt County Economic and Demographic Almanac (HC 107 C22
H834). The HSU
Analytic Studies webpage provides figures for HSU and the Index of Economic
Activity is great for Humboldt County. The Humboldt County
Community Development Services Department has an extensive
demographics page. Many print as well as web statistical
sources are included in Research

Library's catalog, Catalyst. The subject heading for a department search
is Humboldt
State University theses (department). Note that there are two copies
of all theses: one is in the Archives (Humboldt Room) and it may not be
checked out. The other copy is normally located in the main collection and
may be checked out.
