The HSU Library is a selective depository for documents produced by the U.S. government and the State of California. The Library currently receives 70% of the materials made available to the public by federal agencies, including all Congressional hearings. These materials may be in print, microfiche, digital or web-based format. HSU became an official federal depository in 1964 but the collection includes materials dating from the 1860s.
