You may have suspected that the United States Department
of Education publishes many documents on the state of education in the
US, but did you know that they also publish materials to help teachers
plan curriculum and items for teachers to use in the classroom? The Department
of Education is not the only federal agency to do so. Many US government
agencies publish information to help teachers teach about a variety of
topics.
Here are a few examples of items the US government has published and
sent to depository libraries around the country, free of charge through
the Federal Depository Library Program. If you would like to look at any
of these items, or need help finding anything in our Government Documents
collection, we're happy to help!
