Study Room Reservations


Rooms 115, 116, 117, 208, 311, 312, and 314 have been designated as Library study rooms, and may be reserved by groups (either formally organized or informally self-constituted) for a maximum of two hours per day. Use of the study rooms may be for any purpose which is compatible with Library functions and which does not interfere with normal Library operations. They are not meant to serve as regular classroom space.

Room 208 has been reserved for Math Lab use Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m.to 11:00 p.m. The room can be used as a study room during other Library open hours.

Signup is available through an online form. Study room reservations are available only to currently registered students, staff and faculty of Humboldt State University.

***Rooms will only be held until 15 minutes after the hour. Rooms unclaimed at that time will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the beginning of the next reservation.***

Any hours the rooms are not reserved they may be used on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to these priorities:

  1. scheduled Library instruction
  2. group viewing of media materials
  3. group study and conference
  4. individual viewing of media materials
  5. individual study
