On Tuesday, October 2, 2012, The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors proclaimed Outliers the Book of the Year!
In anticipation of an exceptional 2013/14 Centennial Year, the Book of the Year committee kindly requests your suggestions for possible Book of the Year candidates.
Please take a moment to send your ideas to bookoftheyear@humboldt.edu by October 25.
Please include the title, a brief explanation of why you think it would be a good candidate, and a link to the book’s Amazon description or a book review.
We hope that we will be able to bring the author of the book to Humboldt so please give that some consideration when making your suggestions.
Finalists will be announced the first week of November and online voting will be from November 30 until December 14th.
