- Bills and Resolutions--Thomas: Legislative Information on the Internet (Library of Congress) Tracks current bills in Congress. Search by bill number, keyword, sponsor, status in legislative process, committee, or date of introduction.
- CQ Weekly (HSU users only) Provides weekly coverage of actions in the U.S. Congress, including the status of bills, votes and amendments, and floor and committee activity from 1983 to the present. Browse by broad topic or search by keyword.
- Congressional Record Summaries (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Legislative Library) Index to Congressional actions on the environment as recorded in the Congressional Record. Appears everyday Congress is in session.
- Congressional Research Service Reports (Library of Congress. Congressional Research Service) Contains over 1300 Issue Briefs and Reports prepared for the US Congress on natural resources, environmental quality, and other general topics, including proposed legislation. Regularly recurring reports on current legislative issues cover environmental protection; natural resources; and fisheries, aquaculture and marine mammals.
- Current Status of Wilderness (and related) Bills [#] Congress (John McComb)Tracts legislation in each session of Congress from the 106th to the present.
- Energy/Environment on Capitol Hill (Citizen Joe) Highlights the national policy debates in Congress.

- "Environment and Energy" IN Congress and the Nation (Congressional Quarterly) Published every four years (Ref JK 1041 C6) Summary of major environmental and energy legislation organized by four year Presidential term.

- National Environmental Scorecard (League of Conservation Voters) Contains the voting records of members of Congress on key environmental legislation as determined by a consensus of 19 environmental groups; includes scorecards from 1971 to the present.
- Outdoor News Bulletin (Wildlife Managment Institute) (print copy available in Periodical SK 351 08) Biweekly newsletter published by the Wildlife Management Institute reporting on legislative and management developments.
- Unified Agenda (Semiannual Regulatory Agenda) (GPO Access) The Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions is published twice a year in the Federal Register. It lists regulatory actions by agency that are being developed or have recently been completed. Browse by agency or search by keyword.
- Wilderness Legislation in the ... Congress (Wilderness Society) Describes wilderness bills that have been introduced in the current session of Congress and a provides a summary of their status.

- Bill Information (Legislative Counsel of California) Contains text, status, history, analyses and votes of all introduced bills from the 1993/94 legislative session to the present. Includes an historical sequence of text revisions made during the legislative process. Indexes include bill number, author, and keyword. Includes bills from Updated daily.
- California Policy Inbox (UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies Library) Selectively reports on new public policy research about California as reported on the websites of academic, nonprofit, and governmental research organizations. Browse by date, subject category, including "Environment; or search by keyword.
- Legislative Index (Legislative Counsel of California) Current legislative session only. Issued periodically with each issue being cumulative for the legislative session. Contains two parts: a "subject index" to introduced bills and resolutions; and a "table of sections affected" that shows each section of the Constitution, codes, and uncodified laws affected by introduced bills. For indexes covering 1897 to 2001 see Histories and Indexes (California State Assembly).
- California Environment and Natural Resources Policy Sources (State of California) Includes listing of major laws, policy sources and agencies.
- CLCV Legislative Environmental Scorecard (California League of Conservation Voters) Includes the "Annual Guide to Environmental Legislation and Votes" from 1988 to the present.
- Digest of Legislation (California Senate. Rules Committee) (Cal Doc L551 S53) Annual digest, arranged by broad subject, that gives a one sentence annotation of all introduced legislation and its status in the legislative process. An introductory "Legislative Overview" highlights major legislation by broad subject.
- Policy Legislation: Natural Resources and Coastal Issues (California Senate. Office of Research) Annual compilation that highlights major legislation dealing with natural resources, wildlife, water, parks and pollution control. Also includes links to state agencies and environmental NGOs in the state. The Senate Office of Research also publishes a semiannual series of Legislative Highlights, one of which previews introduced legislation and the other highlights legislative accomplishments. Both are organized by subject.

Indexes can be used to find popular, scholarly, and professional legal literature published in journals, reviews, magazines, conference proceedings, government documents, and other types of publications. - Environmental Science and Pollution Management (HSU users only) Indexes environmental science and pollution research, including legal aspects, from over 5,000 journals and other literature, mostly from 1981 to the present.
- Geobase (HSU users only) Emphasizes periodical and conference literature on physical, economic, and cultural geography including the legal aspects of humankind's relationship to the land.
- Lexis Nexis Academic (HSU users only) Fulltext database containing several sections of interest. The "News" section includes articles from thousands of newspapers, magazines, radio and television transcripts, newswires, and newsletters. This includes reporting of law related issues at national, state, and local levels. The "Legal Research" section includes national and state "primary" level resources, and the fulltext of over 20 environmental/natural resource law review journals.
- Social Science in Forestry Bibliography (University of Minnesota Forestry Library) Includes literature from 1985 to the present on legislation, policy, planning, management, and economic development issues as applied to forestry and public land management in general.
